I discovered Jan Karon last year. I’ve read most of her Mitford Series books and I can’t recommend them enough! They are a wonderful escape into a delightful small town in the mountains of North Carolina.
She has assembled a unique cast of characters who each have their own charms, quirks, foibles.
I love getting a cup of coffee and venturing into the charming town of Mitford.

I also discovered Steven James last year. He writes thrillers and they are definitely edge of your seat thrillers.
Patrick Bowers is an FBI agent who follows a slightly different angle when investigating crimes. He’s a coffee snob and wouldn’t be caught dead in a Starbucks.
I’ve read the entire Patrick Bowers Series and they are excellent. If thrillers are your cup of coffee, then you won’t be disappointed with these books.
